New Year, New Trend!

Time passed so quickly last year..We are now in 2011 and it's exciting to be trendspotting!
Wonder what colours are in and what's not, what designs will make the runway....and most interestingly, for me personally, is what accessories/ jewelry will be hot!

According to some different sites:
- Faux gemstones, opulent and translucent pieces, edgy motifs and textured designs are the hottest jewelry trends for 2011. Chic and stylish jewelry trends for 2011 are fun, feminine and incredibly bold. (suite101.com)

- Big and bold give way to simple, according to Lisa Jesse.

- Chunky, bold and layered jewelry are the general prediction for many, I noticed...

So, how does these affect Terrific Gem? For now, the answer is THEY WON'T..It is not that I am not following the latest trend or fashion...But to me, accessorizing is very personal..it depends on the individual's taste and style, the occassion, the dresscode, form vs function etc...because that's how most women I know accessorize...and that definitely makes sense!
